I spent years on the operator side of the table. I've hired managers that transformed businesses and I've hired ones that set us back six months. I know the difference now because I lived the consequences of both — and I know exactly what a bad placement costs a founder, because I've been that founder.

When I started Whitton Recruiting, I didn't want to build another agency. I wanted to build the firm I wished had been available to me: one that actually understood the job the hire was being made for, that took the time to vet for culture and capability instead of just keyword matches, and that had skin in the game through retention, not just a closed placement.

Every engagement we take is one I'd personally stake my name on. If the fit isn't there, we walk. That's the standard.

What We Believe
